OUR SERVICES
PREPARATION OF METALLIC SURFACES
We provide the best solutions in terms of cleaning and anticorrosive protection of metal surfaces, from the use of the highest technology in surface preparation and governing our work under the SSPC, NACE and ISO standards, in order to obtain results of quality of corrosion removal. We offer a variety of jobs to obtain the degree of cleaning adjusted to the needs of the client:
.
.
SSPC - SP1 SOLVENT
Procedure to remove harmful foreign materials such as oils, greases, stains and other contaminants through the use of solvents, emulsions, cleaners, steam, among others.
.
.
SSPC - SP2 MANUAL
Removal of peeling mill scale, peeling paint, and other foreign contaminants using a hand brush, hand scraping, or a combination of these two methods.
.
.
SSPC - SP3 MECHANICAL
Cleaning with an electric or pneumatic tool, removing mill scale, detached rust, detached paint and other foreign materials.
.
.
SSPC - SP5 METAL WHITE
Total removal of all calamine, rust, coating and foreign products, visible to the naked eye. The cleaning medium is an abrasive jet propelled through a nozzle or by a pair of centrifugal wheels. The white metal grade prepared surface is defined as a surface with a uniform metallic gray-white tone, slightly roughened to form the anchor profile that allows better adhesion of the paint.
.
.
SSPC - SP6 COMMERCIAL
Blasting until at least 2/3 of the parts of each of the areas of the total surface are free of all visible residue, dust, oil, paint in poor condition; the rest will be limited to light discolorations, light shadows or light residue. Cleaning is done by using abrasives driven through compressed air nozzles or by using a centrifugal wheel.
.
.
SSPC - SP7 SOFT SANDBLAST
Better known as "Brush - Off". It is a method of surface preparation by rapid removal of mill scale, rust and detached paint, up to the degree specified above, by impact with abrasives propelled through a nozzle. This cleaning method is used in particular to remove premature oxidation that has formed in the moments prior to surface preparation. It is also used to reactivate overly cured coating layers (epoxies, urethanes).
.
.
SSPC - SP10 METAL ALMOST WHITE
Blasting until a cleaning in which 95% of each one of the zones of the total surface is free of all visible residue; and the rest will be limited to slight shadows, streaks or slight discoloration caused by rust spots. Cleaning is done by using abrasives driven through compressed air nozzles or by using a centrifugal wheel.
.
.
SSPC - SP11 MECHANICAL WITH ANCHOR PROFILE
Surface preparation with power or pneumatic tools by removing mill scale, peeled rust, peeling paint, and other foreign materials, producing a minimum anchor profile of 1.0 mils.
